MISSION STATEMENT

We are an educational association for legal secretaries Whose Members value ethics, professionalism, and continuing legal education. Our mission is to increase the competencies of legal secretaries, so that they may better serve attorneys, courts, businesses, and governments. Our Members include legal secretaries of all levels of experience who support their professional association with their time, talent, spirit, and resources.

LEGAL SECRETARY’S CREED

Recognizing the right of the public to expect all members of the legal profession to exemplify the highest standards of competence, integrity, honesty, confidence, loyalty, and courtesy, we, the members of LEGAL SECRETARIES INTERNATIONAL INC. resolve to promote those ideals.

We resolve to increase our abilities through continuing legal education and to inspire, encourage, and share knowledge with others in the legal secretarial field.

We resolve to uphold the dignity of our chosen profession and to refrain from any unauthorized practice of law.
